Personal Project
36 Days of Type is an Instagram challenge in which you create a post a day for each of the 26 letters of the alphabet and all 10 single digit numbers, totaling 36. This challenge was something I had been wanting to participate in for awhile but could never fit it into my schedule. Well, this year I found some time and committed myself to making it happen.
As I was gearing up to get started I found out that 2024 was the year the Instagram curators decided to put an end to the challenge and go on a hiatus. Ahhh, go figure! I decided to pursue the challenge regardless and it became a personal study that I still posted to my IG, but at my own pace, posting 3 characters at a time.
I'm really happy how the study turned out. Have a scroll through this webpage and check em out on Instagram too, let me know what you think in the comments!

Promo Trailer
This fun little spot came together pretty quickly as I lead the design direction and solo execution of the trailer for Netflix's FIRST EVER Live Event! The process was fast moving, so I cranked out frames and put together the presentation for AND/OR Studio to present to their client.
With some minor feedback from the client, we expanded the color palette of the graphics to tie into other branding they had already established to identify the teams. Other than that we were in a good place, a few tweaks here and there and pieced it all together in one smooth, energetic edit with some bumping tunes to make it catchy. Fun one!

Event/Promo Graphics Package
I jumped into this project a little down the road, design direction was established and the team needed me to bang out some additional design, figure out the 3D type treatment, and animate the toolkit to then be handed off to BET.
This was a quick turnaround but fun to be a part of the process. The BET in-house team seemed pleased with the end product and they liked how the toolkit worked when I walked them through it.

HPE Film Brand Identity
Promo Video Series Graphics Package
This was a 3-part series of videos for HPE to be hosted on their digital platforms. I was contracted to design direct the graphics for the spots. Several months prior I directed the film branding style guide for HPE. The content within that guide informed internal teams and outside content creators how to use HPE motion graphics branding in film/video productions. So for this series of videos it was fun to be able to follow my own style guide and made for an easy jumping off point.
Once the team got scripts approved I designed all the moments that felt like title cards were needed, again, using the style guide as the foundation. The big unknown for these spots were the “metaphor” moments when concepts were put into visual form. Working closely with the 3D artist we conceptualized the look and feel of these moments to play out seamlessly with the VO.
Other roles fulfilled were directing animators and editors, directing color grade, a couple composting shots here and there, exploring motion language, and getting in there to help animate.

Virtual Event Graphics Package
For this year’s A+E Networks Upfront I served as design director for the Sibling Rivalry team. We worked long and hard at developing the system that would be the graphics package for the virtual upfront show and all the network’s tapes throughout the year. The package goes deep because it not only brands the upfront show but all the genres the network produces content for. Since this was the case we did a thorough look into color, typography, and motion that ultimately would be used by many people in many places.
Presented here is the design direction and motion system, these were my primary responsibilities. These parts were then incorporated into the show and I was able to help oversee that process as the project evolved. In the end I was very pleased with the final look and everyone from network to studio expressed sincere gratitude for what we created, I’m proud to have played such a vital role in the process.
All imagery and titles used in designs are placeholder and has no relevance to the content A+E Networks was marketing at the Upfront. All imagery is copyright by its respective owners.

Event Graphics Package
History Talks is an event held annually in which “trailblazers, global leaders, witnesses, authors and filmmakers” are invited to speak and engage audiences as they explore “newsworthy topics and historical events…with candid recollections and compelling perspectives that will help us better understand the present and inform the future.”
I was enlisted by Sibling Rivalry Studio as design director for the event in 2022. We started out considering last year’s graphics and introduced an evolution to gold, but in the end they kept the red palette from the year prior. The stage introduced a 3 screen backdrop for the show and all its guests. Designing the introduction to each speaker/panel was the big lift as well as A+E Networks Group president’s remarks.
The show was a great success and the team at A+E Networks was extremely pleased with how we delivered.

Event Graphics Package
For this in-person event at the FOX Studio lot in Los Angeles I was contracted as design director by Sibling Rivalry Studio to lead the team in the creation of all graphic design needs for the show.
This included event logo design, a stage graphics package (my two designs presented here), an eVite, badges, portfolio cover, menus, step-and-repeat backdrops, and various signage for the event.

Show Graphics Package
Contracted by Sibling Rivalry Studio to design the graphics package for History Channel’s sub-franchise program called Save Our History. I then went on to design direct 3 additional sub-franchises packages called: More to History, This Week in History, and Mission to Honor.

Network Brand Identity
I was brought in to Sibling Rivalry’s History Channel rebrand about half way through the process. Starting out primarily as a designer for one of the sub-franchise’s graphics package. From there I moved on to design direct the other three sub-franchises and many other assets for the rebrand.
As roles shifted I found myself leading all remaining deliverables as creative director. This role comprised of directing the hero ID, key-art & social type systems, the master brand book, styleguides, toolkits, reels, and case study.
A few months later History reengaged Sibling, and myself, to further develop their lower thirds to include a robust IPM and Snipe system. I led the project as creative director and was hands-on with the creation of everything involved from design to delivery.

Network Branding
This project was the latest collaboration in my on-going relationship with the good people over at CSI Sports. For this project we refreshed the Fight Sports brand identity, with new and improved 3D graphics. We also added a network ticker to the package, which was a lot of fun to design and layout, orchestrating all the necessary information.
The second part of this project was creating the on-air graphics package for World Class Championship Boxing. We created a series of lower thirds and a few full-frame graphics as well. The 3-minute-round countdown clock was an added element and a fun task to animate and toolkit.

Brand Identity
As part of the digital branding of Jets 360 — the in-house production studio and media arm of the NFL’s New York Jets — I led the team responsible for the creation of a cohesive and robust visual identity, including the development of a new logo, title cards, bug, social end card, lower thirds, and toolkit.

Web Site Imagery
Worked with an agency to produce imagery for use within the website redesign for Toyota TRI-AD. Teamed up with a 3D artist to create the custom Lexus 3D renders and supplemental graphics visualizing the advanced technology and innovative automation of the car.
